Respondents Prayer: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records, in P.D.O.No.06/2019 dated 04.05.2019 and direct the respondents to produce the detenu by namely Vasanth @ Vasanthakumar, Son of Chandrasekaran, aged about 30 years, who has been termed as "GOONDA" now detained at Central Prison, Trichy, and set aside the same and set the detenu at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The wife of the detenu is the petitioner herein and challenging the impugned order of detention dated 04.05.2019 passed by the second respondent, branding her husband as a 'Cyber Law Offender' under the provisions of Section 3[1] of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982), has filed the present habeas corpus petition.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel on either side, in unison, submitted that the order of detention has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2383, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 05.07.2019, revoking the impugned order of detention, has also been produced before this Court.
3. In view of the aforesaid development, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
