ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2.The petitioner purchased a piece of land under sale deed dated 11.03.2021 (Document No.1367 of 2021) registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Sathanur. The sale deed was executed by one Govindarajan and four others. Along with the writ petitioner, three others made similar purchases from the very same vendors. The petitioner has taken power of attorney from the other purchasers and moved the second respondent for entering their names in the revenue record. Since the application was not processed, this present writ petition came to be filed.
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner and his principals do not appear to have purchased the property from the pattadhars whose names appear in the revenue record.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that in the Patta, the names of the Muthukrishnan, Muthu Lakshmi and Jeganathan are mentioned. The vendors are none other than sons of Muthulakshmi and 2/4
Jeganathan. Thus the petitioner seeks to establish the clear link between his vendors and pattadhars.
5. I am satisfied that a prima facie case has been made out. The second respondent is directed to hold an enquiry into the petition mentioned representation and pass final order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of order.
