ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to file the final report in Crime No.13 of 2016, on the file of the second respondent police. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her husband, the petitioner had filed a maintenance petition in D.V.O.P.No. 2 of 2015, before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Nilakottai and the same is still pending. Further, he submitted that the accused persons harassed the petitioner and threatened her to withdraw the said maintenance petition. Hence, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent and for the same, FIR had been registered in Crime No.13 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 323, 354, 294(b), 506(2) and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. But, the second respondent had not proceeded further in this regard.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.8511 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents reported that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police had registered a case in Crime No. 13 of 2016, completed the investigation and filed charge sheet, which had been taken cognizance in C.C.No.135 of 2018, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai. Further, he stated that the case has been posted on 30.08.2022, for the appearance of the accused persons.
4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
