ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to file Final Report in respect of the case in crime No.376 of 2019 on the file of the respondent within time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that Final Report has been presented before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, on 30.06.2023, but it is not taken on file so far.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the matter was heard on 10.04.2023, it was brought to the notice of this Court that a cheque amount of Rs.4,00,000/- was given to the petitioner by the accused. But now it is informed to the Court that the above said 2/4

cheque was presented before the Bank, but it was dishonoured due to insufficient fund. So, the case in C.C.No.116 of 2022 has been registered under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act against the accused before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhunagar.

4. There shall be direction to the concerned trial Court to process the above said Final Report that was presented on 30.06.2023 within the time stipulated as per rules.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
