*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition directing the respondents to open alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in all the Hospitals of the second respondent situated in the Taluk Headquarters.
2. The petitioner, who is stated to be a law graduate, has submitted a representation dated 13.04.2017, before the third respondent with a request to open alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in all the Hospitals of the second respondent situated in the Taluk Headquarters. The said representation, till date, remains unanswered.
3. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.
4. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleade, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, informs that the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2017 will be considered by the third respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
