The prayer in the writ petition is to remove the encroachments in Water line garbage and mud dumped in the Manimutharu river situated in Ward No.10 Narkudi Thondi, Ramanathapuram District, based on the Petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2013. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. None appeared for the petitioner.

3. Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 states that instructions have been received and the Executive Officer will look into the matter.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Executive Officer, Thondi Town Panchayat/5th respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2013 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to deal with the matter on its own merit as per law. No costs.
