The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to ratify the deputation period of the petitioner and include his name in the panel list and permit him to participate in the counselling.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner is working as a Tutor in physiology and deputed to Department of Neuro Surgery in Kanyakumari Medical College, Assaripallam, Nagercoil. He has completed master degree in Neuro Surgery in the year 2000. He has completed more than five years of service in the Department on deputation. He wants the deputation period to be ratified and included in his service.
4. It is seen that the petitioner has already made representation before the second respondent in the Month of June 2014 and the said request is not yet been considered. It is needless to say that unless his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
deputation period is ratified, inclusion of his name in the panel list would not arise. Therefore, the petitioner has to make a fresh representation to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order seeking for ratifying the deputation period. On receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the said request and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

It is made clear that this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction without expressing any view on the merits and contentions made by the petitioner in respect of his claim towards seeking ratification of the deputation period and it is for the second respondent to consider the same and pass orders as stated supra. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
