ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents No.1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of petitioner from the respondent No.5 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.03.2023. 2.Due to dowry harassment, the petitioner has filed a complaint against the 5th respondent before the All Women Police Station, Samayanallur. Pending the above said complaint, the 5th respondent made life threat to the petitioner. Hence, she gave a representation seeking police protection.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is no co-operation from the petitioner in spite of summon. 2/5

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that so far no summon has been received. Let the petitioner appear before the respondent police in person namely the third respondent on 28.06.2023. The third respondent is directed to summon the fifth respondent also and assess the ground situation. If any life threat exists further action may be taken by the respondent police. The above said enquiry be completed within a period of 10 days from the date of appearance of parties. 5.With the above said directions this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
