ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 of IPC and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.44 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is involved in two other cases of similar nature in Crime No.49 of 2020 on the file of Karuppaiurani Police Station and Crime No.895 of 2020 on the file of Silaiman Police Station.

3. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
