(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The mother of the detenue is the petitioner herein and challenging the impugned order of detention dated 30.05.2019 passed by the second respondent, branding her son as a Goonda under the provisions of Section 3[1] of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P(MD)No.584 of 2019 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982), she has filed the present habeas corpus petition.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel on either side, in unison, submitted that the order of detention has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2465, Home Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 10.07.2019, revoking the impugned order of detention, has also been produced before this Court.
3. In view of the aforesaid development, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
