The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the respondents to register a case, based on his complaint, dated 07.03.2016, and investigate the same in accordance with law within a stipulated period.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents that a case has been registered in Crime No.243 of 2016, on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner dated 07.03.2016. The said statement is recorded.
