O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the first respondent to monitor the case and direct the second respondent not to transfer the case, in Crime No.3 of 2016, to any other agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and Mr.R.Babu Jaganath, learned counsel appearing for the intervenor.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the case, in Crime No.3 of 2016, has already been transferred from the file of second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ respondent / Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Kamuthi, to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station,

Thirumayam, on 04.04.2016, for want of territorial jurisdiction. Under such circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. However, the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thirumayam, is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in this case and take appropriate action against the accused in accordance with law.
