The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to consider a representation dated 31.12.2022, given by the petitioners by which representation the petitioners sought issuance of patta relating to 0.01.0 Hectares (2-1/2 cents) of land in Natham Survey No.57/1, Korkai Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. Let me not enter into a detailed examination of the facts, since it is stated by Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader that the second respondent / Tahsildar, Eral Taluk, Thoothukudi District, is now conducting an enquiry which is ongoing. Let that enquiry 2/5

proceed in accordance with law and in the manner known to law. But however, let it be concluded on or before 31.05.2023.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
