Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to measure the petitioner's mother's property located at Indira Nagar, in Old T.S.No.3685/2 Old Ward No.3, Old block No.55, New T.S.No.4/2, New Ward No.G, Block 9 to an extent of 1800 square feet and earmark its boundaries based on the petitioner's representations dated 13.10.2014 and 17.11.2014.

ORDER

Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the fourth respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to measure the property of his mother located at Indira Nagar, in Old T.S.No.3685/2 Old Ward No.3, Old block No.55, New T.S.No.4/2, New Ward No.G, Block 9 to an extent of 1800 square feet and earmark its boundaries based on his representations dated 13.10.2014 and 17.11.2014.

3. The mother of the petitioner submitted a representation dated 17.11.2014 requesting the third respondent to measure and earmark its boundaries in respect of the lands located at Indira Nagar, in Old T.S.No.3685/2 Old Ward No.3, Old block No.55, New T.S.No.4/2, New Ward No.G, Block 9 to an extent of 1800 square feet. Since no action has been taken, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.11.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
