ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Standing Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's family pension including arrears with interest.

3.It is seen that the petitioner's husband namely, Kandhasamy was working in the Army and after rendering such service, he worked in the respondent Corporation for 12 years as Senior Security and attained the age of superannuation on 30.06.2001. He was given pension during his life time by the Army. However, the respondent Corporation has not given the pensionary benefits to the petitioner in spite of representation made seeking for such benefit. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking the relief as stated supra. 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner has already approached the respondents 1 and 2 by way of her representation dated 03.08.
2013 and the same is still pending, without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised in this writ petition, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 03.08.2013 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While disposing of the representation, the respondents shall consider the relevant case laws relied on by the petitioner in support of her claim. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
