ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the Special Court for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) Theni to consider the surrender and bail application filed by the petitioner in Crime No.269 of 2021 pending on the file of the second respondent police and to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.269 of 2021 has been completed and the final report has been filed before the concerned Court by showing that the petitioner is an obsconding accused. He further submitted that the warrant has been issued against this petitioner and the same is pending.

3. Since the warrant has been issued against this petitioner, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned Court for his remedy. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 12.04.2023 NCC :
