[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] On behalf of village people, the petitioner made representations on 26.12.2023 and 31.12.2023 with regard to the alleged deficiency of work being undertaken in a temple called Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Temple in Kottaikadu Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. Since the same have not been considered by the respondents, especially, 7th respondent, who is the Executive Officer of the temple, who only floated the tender, the petitioner has moved this Writ Petition.

2.Heard Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.G.Madhavan, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the 7th respondent. In view of the order that is going to be passed in this Writ Petition, notice to the 8th respondent is dispensed with.

3.Since there has been some allegations against the contractor, who undertakes the work at the temple and despite the instructions already given by the 7th respondent, the same seems to have not been complied with, according to

the representations given by the petitioner, we feel that this Writ Petition can be disposed of with a direction to the 7th respondent to consider the representations dated 26.12.2023 and 31.12.2023 made by the petitioner on behalf of the village people and accordingly, after making spot visit, it should be ensured that the work entrusted to the contractor is being carried out scrupulously without any deviation. 4.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
