RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time limit granted in Crl.OP(MD)No.5708 of 2020, dated 05..06.2020 to surrender and execute the sureties before the court concerned.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.BENAZIR BEGUM, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 05.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5708 of 2020, directed the petitioners to appear and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only] before the learned Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukkottai District, on or before 03.07.2020. According to the petitioners, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were not able to move from Pudukkottai to Thirumayam, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

CRL MP(MD) No.3907 of 2020 Court vide order dated 05.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5708 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today, subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five Thousand only] to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai [Account No.496039124, Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Madurai, IFSC Code:IDIB000H040], failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court. sd/- 06/08/2020 / TRUE COPY / / /2020 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
