PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant the petitioner permission and protection to worship and to conduct annathanam on 25.11.2015 in the "Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Koil" by considering the petitioner's application dated 21.10.2015.

ORDER

Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission and protection to worship and conduct annathanam on 25.11.2015 in the "Arulmigu Sri https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kaliamman Koil", Thirumalapuram Village, by considering his application dated 21.10.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fifth respondent is not allowing the petitioner to do so.

4. Needless to say that it is for the Official respondents, more particularly the respondents 3 and 4, to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, taking note of the law and order situation prevailing in the village. Therefore without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.10.2015 and pass orders on the same, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the fifth respondent also on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 3 and 4 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
