PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta to 4 1⁄2 cents house site (out of 13 cents) in Survey No.132 in Mannadimangalam Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District in the petitioner's name upon the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2015 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to issue patta in respect of the house site measuring 4 1⁄2 cents at Survey No.132 in Mannadimangalam Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District. It is seen that the petitioner has already made such request through his application dated 29.06.2015. It is further stated that the said application is still pending and not yet disposed of. Therefore it is for the second respondent to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent will pass orders on the petitioner's application within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

5. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
