*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu, seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 4 to produce the detenu, by name, A.Senthilkumar, [Male, aged 32 years], before this Court and set him at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for
hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that the detenu was arrested in connection with a case in Crime No.127 of 2018, on the file of the third respondent police for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 387, 307 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code and remanded to judicial custody.
3. Since the detenu is not in illegal custody, in our considered view, nothing survives for adjudication in the Habeas Corpus Petition. The Habeas Corpus Petition is, therefore, closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Crl.side) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
