The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 08.04.2022 seeking patta in respect of the land situated in S.No.264/12B2 in Kottampatty Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.J.Anandkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 5 and 6.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she submitted instant representation dated 08.04.2022 seeking patta on the basis of her long 2/4
possession over the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
