This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in the above case in Cr.No.261/2024, dated 11.06.2024 and file a final report. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, a case in Cr.No.261 of 2024 has been registered against the petitioner. In this case, investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks 15 days time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also seeks 15 days time to file final report, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of 15 days from the date of this order. 2/4
4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
