ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 1666959/2024/Aa4, dated 16.02.2024 for rectification of UDR records.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering that the request of the petitioner is pertaining to UDR rectification, the competent authority is the second respondent the District Revenue Officer, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application, on merits, in accordance with law and be finally decided, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the interested parties, if any. No costs.
