This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent No.1 and 2 to expeditiously complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No. 71 of 2019 on the file of the respondent No. 2 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Cr.No.71 of 2029 has been registered. In this case, investigation is almost completed and final report is yet to be filed. Hence, he seeks 15 days time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and the respondent police also seeks 15 days time to file final report, recording the said submission, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
