RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time stipulated for the surrender of the petitioners and for execute sureties in Crl.MP(MD)No.3197 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020 in Crl.OP(MD)No.5080 of 2020 dated 13.05.2020 on the file of this Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.R.S.BALRAJ, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- Earlier, this Court, by order dated 11.06.2020, in Crl.M.P. (MD).No.3197 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5080 of 2020, extended the time to the petitioners to appear and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only] before the learned Additional Mahila Court (JM Level), Madurai, on or before 05.06.2020.

2.However, according to the petitioners, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were not able to appear before the Magistrate concerned, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

CRL MP(MD) No.3905 of 2020 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and time granted by this Court vide order dated 11.06.2020 in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.3197 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5080 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today, subject to payment of Rs10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai [Account No.496039124, Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Madurai, IFSC Code:IDIB000H040], failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
