PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to expedite the second appeal dated 26.08.2015 forthwith preferred by the petitioner.

ORDER

Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned Counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his Second Appeal dated 26.08.2015 filed under Right To Information Act.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner in the Second Appeal, this Court is inclined to pass an order directing the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner dated 26.08.2015, if it is not disposed of so far, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with such direction. No costs.
