PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to give effect to the allotment by constructing shops in pursuance of his order Mapo 4/Ma Va3/0576/14-15 dated 1st month of 2015 and thereby hand over the possession of the same to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 05.10.2015 within the time frame. ORDER

Mr.R.Prabhu Ramachandran, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to construct the shops and hand over two shops to the petitioner as he has become successful bidder in respect of such shops.

4. It is stated that even though the petitioner became the successful bidder in respect of those two shops, the respondents have not completed the construction and handed over the same. It appears that the petitioner has made a representation on 05.10.2015 seeking for the same relief. Therefore it is for the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
