Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to accord necessary permission and give police protection to conduct the Kabadi tournament at Komakudi Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District, on 29.06.2018 to 01.07.2018 start at about 08.00 pm., for three days respectively on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to accord necessary permission and give police protection to conduct the Kabadi tournament at Komakudi Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District, on 29.06.2018 to 01.07.2018 start at about 08.00 pm., for three days respectively on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation on 18.06.2018 for conducting the Kabadi Tournament on 29.06.2018 to 01.07.2018. No action has been taken so far on the said representation of the petitioner and the same is pending. Hence, the petitioner filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
this present writ petition before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.
5.By taking into consideration of the submissions made by the parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2018 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 28.06.2018. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the representation dated 18.06.2018 to the second respondent along with a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
