O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the second and third respondents namely, the Tahsildar, Tharagampatti, Karur District and Commissioner of Survey and Settlement, Kadavur, Karur District, to survey and fix the boundaries of the lands of the petitioner in Survey No.2023/6 and identify the boundaries with respect to the adjacent lands in Survey Nos.2023/9 and 2023/10 all at Idayapatti West Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District.
2. The petitioner also seeks patta to be issued in his name. It is stated that the property had been purchased by the father of the 2/5
petitioner herein. It was also in possession of the father. The petitioner is the eldest son.
3. A direction is given to the second and third respondents to examine the application given by the petitioner herein, issue notice to the petitioner and also to the adjacent land owners, examine the sale deeds by which the petitioner and the adjacent land owners, determine the title as given in the schedule of the sale deeds and thereafter, proceed to survey the lands and fix the boundaries. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
