PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to personally verify the records and accounts of the Kurunthancodu Village Panchayat and conduct an enquiry and take action against 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents for supporting illegal activities of the respondents 5 to 7 as well as initiate disciplinary action under Section 203 and Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act 1994 against the 5th and 6th respondents in accordance with law, for misappropriation of Panchayat funds by creating false vouchers, tampering of records, forgery etc. and against the 7th respondent for abetting the misappropriation of fund by the 5th and 6th respondents. This being the position, it is for the petitioner to go before the criminal Court for appropriate relief.
