Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to pass an order of direction directing the learned judicial Magistrate's Court, Manamadurai to expedite the trial of the case in C.C.No. 96 of 2020 and dispose the same within the time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER:This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day upon persuing the earlier order of this Court in CRL.OP(MD).No.8297of 2022, dated 29/04/2022, and requisition letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai vide letter D.No. 1011/2023, dated 28.06.2023, this Court made the following order:

Today, this Criminal Original Petition is listed under the caption ,for extension of time, to dispose of C.C.No. 96 of 2020, pending on the file of learned judicial magistrate, Manamadurai.

2.This Court has already dispose of the Criminal Original Petition, by order, dated 29.04.2022 and directed the trial Court to dispose of C.C.No. 96 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now, the learned Judicial Magistrate requests further time to dispose of the said case. 3.Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Judicial Magistrate, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, directed the learned Judicial Magistrate to dispose of C.C.No. 96 of 2020 on or before 31.05.2024 and the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to comply with the direction of this Court, without any further delay.
