PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to allow the Criminal Original Petition directing the 2nd respondent, i.e., the Inspector of Police, Austinpatti Police Station, Madurai District to comply with the order dated 28.01.2022 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam in C.M.P.No.50/2022 and register the FIR against the proposed accused. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent, i.e., the Inspector of Police, Austinpatti Police Station, Madurai District to comply with the order dated 28.01.2022 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam in C.M.P.No.50/2022 and register the FIR against the proposed accused.

2. The petitioner has lodged complaint before the third respondent, however the third respondent did not register any case and as such the petitioner was constrained to file a petition under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam and the learned Magistrate by an order dated 28.01.2022 had directed the third respondent herein to investigate the matter and file a report, however the third respondent even till https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

today did not register any First Information Report and kept the matter in cold storage.

3. In view of the same, the third respondent is directed to register the First Information Report forthwith as against the accused persons as directed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam and investigate the same.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
