Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connect with the impugned order passed by the respondent No.3 in C.No.44/KBY/F2CO/2015, dated 27.09.2015 and quash the same as illegal, consequently directing the respondent No.3 to grant permission for conduct fasting agitation on any other earliest date at near Karampakudi Taluka office on the basis of the representation submitted to the petitioner on 03.10.2015 by the respondent No.1.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of rejection by the respondent police seeking police protection for conducting fasting agitation on 16.10.2015.

2.The Inspector of Police, Karambakudi Police Station, by the order impugned in this writ petition has rejected the request for conducting fasting agitation in front of Karambakudi Taluk office on the ground that it would cause unnecessary nuisance to the public who would be visiting the Taluk Office. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The petitioner has not opted any other place and has not renewed the claim so far. It appears that the cause of action for the agitation is of the year 2015 and if the petitioner is still having any grievance, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned authority and if any representation is made by the petitioner, the respondent police shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.With this above observation, this criminal original petition is disposed of. No costs.
