This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 5 to provide appropriate police protection to the petitioner's life and her family members life in worshipping the deity namely 'Sri Devi Mutharamman' in Sri Devi Mutharamman Temple, Mavilai Village, Ammandivilai Post, Kanyakumari District. 2.It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondent police on 18.04.2022 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3.In view of the same, the fifth respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondents 6 to14 and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
