The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner, during the pendency of the writ petition, was allowed to retire from service and all the terminal and pensionary benefits due to him were also settled by the competent authorities. This being the factum, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.
