Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to reimburse the medical claim of Rs.2,99,997-14 (Rupees two lakhs ninety nine thousand nine hundred ninety seven and paise fourteen only) together with interest at the rate of 7.5 percentage p.a. thereon to the petitioner covered by the medical records and medical bills within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

In connection with the petitioner's claim for reimbursement of medical expenses for the treatment undergone by him under the New India Insurance Scheme recommended by the DLEC, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 3, on written instructions, submitted that the petitioner's claim has been favourbly considered by the United India Insurance Company, to settle a sum of Rs.86,840/- on 18.08.2022. 2.Incase the petitioner is aggrieved against the quantum of the reimbursement, liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner to file an appropriate appeal before the State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC). 2/4

3.With the above liberty, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
