PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.190 of 2020 dated 22.06.2020, on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Soolakarai, Virudhuangar District and quash the same as against the petitioners.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking the relief to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.190 of 2020, dated 22.06.2020 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same as against the petitioners.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent Police, on instructions, would submit that in Crime No.190 of 2020, the respondent police has completed the investigation on 03.07.2020 itself. He would further submit that due to Covid-19 situation, the final report has not been filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate is recorded. However, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
