ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction against the second respondent/Tahsildar, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Uthamapalayam, Theni District to measure the land in S.No.1152/2D13, 14 and 1335/2 at Narayan Thevanpatti village Madura, Surulipatti village, Uthamapalayam taluk, Theni District. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner had purchased the properties from his father R.Mani and his mother Vellathaiyammal on 20.11.2001 by a registered sale deed, registered in the office of Sub Registrar, Cumbum Sub Registrar. He then applied to survey the land.

3.A direction is given to the second respondent to examine the representation of the petitioner and issue notice to the petitioner and to the 2/4

adjacent land owners and determine whether there is any objection and subject to satisfaction proceed to survey the land. If there any objections raised, then the same may be noted and a report may be filed giving reasons for not surveying the lands. The said exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is stands disposed. No costs.
