Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was working as Inspector of Police. He was removed from service. The petitioner filed an appeal before the Additional Director General of Police. It was dismissed in the year 2019. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed a mercy petition before the respondent. He has also given a counter claim.

3. The respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned mercy petition on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
