ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conclude the pending proceedings initiated by the petitioner.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage.

4. The petitioner has given a representation on 11.03.2024 to the first respondent seeking patta. The said application was forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent on 30.04.2024 and thereafter, no further progress has been made by the second respondent. 2/4

5. Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to conclude the enquiry proceedings and pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 11.03.2024 since forwarded to the second respondent by the first respondent on 30.04.2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
