ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to Expedite the Trial in S.T.C.No.454 of 2022, on the file of the Fast 1/4

Track Court No.II at Magisterial Level, Madurai Under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2.Even though the case is of the year 2022, in view of the direction issued by the Honourable Supreme Court in the case of M/s.Meters and Instruments Private Limited Vs. Kanchan Mehta reported in (2018) 1 SCC 560, the cases arises out of Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments should be disposed of within a period of six months. 3.Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the trial Court namely the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II at Magisterial Level, Madurai, to expedite the trial process in S.T.C.No.454 of 2022, which his pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
