Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act in Crime No.6 of 2015 on the file of the respondent Police hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the de facto complainant are husband and wife. The petitioner demanded more dowry and harassed the de facto complainant.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence and a false case has been foisted against him. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State submitted that this Court earlier directed both parties to appear before the Mediation. However, the petitioner did not appear and called absent and the petitioner did not return the articles to the de facto https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ complainant as promised.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner did not appear before the Mediation and the matter is pending for a long time before the Mediation and even before this Court, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
