The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 not to grant further renewal of the Bar license after its expiry on 31.03.2026 and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 5 to take immediate action for closure of the Bar attached to Baskar Lodge, Kallidaikurichi, Tirunelveli District, in view of the criminal case registered by the 7th respondent and based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 5 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that the respondents 1 to 5 will consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025 within a time frame.

Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondents 1 to 5 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to all the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
