This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct the Kallalagar Mandagapadi / Madurai Telugu Melakarargal Uravinmurai Dharmasthabanam Mandagapadi (Chithirai Festival, 2024) on 23.04.2024 and 25.04.2024, in the premises situated in Town Survey No.21/01 (Sangeeth Plaza), Madurai North, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2024.
2. When this Writ Petition came up for admission on 12.04.2024, this Court, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent, granted interim relief to the petitioner as follows:-
5. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the 1st respondent, this Court is inclined to pass an interim Page No. 2 of 4
order as prayed for as the petitioner as made out a prima facie case for grant of interim relief. Considering the same, there shall be an interim order as prayed for. Notice to the respondents 2 and 3 returnable by 26.04.2024. Private notice is also permitted.
Post on 26.04.2024.

Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pursuant to the aforesaid interim order dated 12.04.2024, the first respondent received the amount for Mandagapadi and permitted the petitioner to conduct the Kallalagar Mandagapadi on 23.04.2024 and 25.04.2024 as prayed for in this Writ Petition and therefore, this Writ Petition has become infructuous. He also made an endorsement to that effect.
4. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
