C-60. To suspend the sentence and conviction imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District in S.C.No.37 of 2024, dated 17.09.2025 and enlarge the petitioner on bail, pending disposal of the main appeal.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for suspension of the sentence imposed in S.C.No.37 of 2024, dated 17.09.2025 passed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District and to enlarge the petitioner on bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. This is the second petition filed by the petitioner seeking for suspension of sentence. The earlier petition filed in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.16461 of 2025 came to be dismissed by an order dated 05.01.2026 as withdrawn. However, on going through the order, it is seen that the Court was not inclined to grant suspension of sentence and at that point of time, the petition was withdrawn. In view of the same, the same has to be construed as dismissed on merits.

4. Since we do not find any change in circumstances, we are not inclined to entertain this petition and accordingly, this petition stands dismissed.

5. Registry is directed to make the paper book ready and include this appeal for final hearing in the advance list.
