ORDER

Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, the learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to return the driving license to him bearing No.TN-472000000236.

3. According to the petitioner, there is no justification for impounding the driving license of the petitioner. In any event as the petitioner has already made a representation dated 06.10.2015 seeking for return of the driving license, it is for the respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.10.2015 and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
