RESPONDENT / PETITIONER / PETITIONER Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased todispense with my personal appearance on 20/07/2017, before this Honourable Court as ordered in the statutory notice issued in the said Contempt Petition (MD)No. 697 of 2017 in WP(MD)No. 20708 of 2016.

To issue a notice of contempt to the Contemnor/1st Respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Honourable Court passed in WP(MD)No.20708 of 2016 dated 26/10/2016 and punish the Contemnor in accordance with law.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to place petitioner in the panel list of 2015-2016 of Inspector of Survey to be Promoted as Assistant Director of Survey with due consideration of Petitioner being a member of SC and consequently promote the petitioner as Assistant Director. ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.D.MURUGANANTHAM, Additional Government Pleader, for the petitioner and of M/S.V.MURUGAN on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ This Court vide order dated 22.06.2017, issued statutory notice on the respondent. Today, this Sub Application has been filed by

Dr.Chandra Mohan, Secretary to Government, Revenue and Disaster Management Department to dispense with his personal appearance. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that though the contempt notice was received on 19.04.2017, an order was already passed complying the direction to consider the petitioner's case in G.O.(2D) No.113 Revenue Department dated 07.04.2017, and the same was also served on the writ petitioner on 20.04.2017 by the Assistant Survey of Land Records.

3.As already the order of this Court dated 20.10.2016, has been complied with vide G.O.(2D) No.113 Revenue Department dated 07.04.2017, the personal appearance of the contemnor is dispensed with.
