2. The prayer sought is absolutely misconceived. The petitioner was not selected. An unsuccessful candidate has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to appoint him in the post of Fireman, subject to the result of the pending criminal case. When the criminal case is admittedly pending at the time of process of selection, the petitioner is not entitled for any relief. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
