Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the selection of Kausalya Devi P. in serial number 18 of published selection list of 21 Assistant Engineer/ Electrical (ECE/EIE) by direct recruitment 2015-2017 and quash the selection of Kausalya Devi P. and consequently direct the respondents to consider petitioners candidature for the post of Assistant Engineer(ECE/EIE) in Scheduled Tribe category For Petitioner :

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as against the order dated 28.02.2020 passed in W.P.(MD).No.5739 of 2017, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont P.(MD).No.638 of 2020 respondents have filed a Writ Appeal in W.A.(MD).No.886 of 2020 before the Honourable Division Bench of this Court and the Honourable Division Bench has also stayed the said order. 2.In view of the same, it would not be appropriate to keep the contempt petition pending. Nevertheless if the petitioner is granted liberty to workout his remedy depending on the outcome of the decision to be taken in the Writ Appeal, the ends of the justice would be secured.

3.Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy based on the outcome of the Writ Appeal.
